Frankfurt Creixell 15

We went last year and it has changed ownership since. It was always going to be hard to beat the excellence that was the old Ca la Pepa, and the new owners need to focus on the quality and their own experience in the kitchen. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome. The food wasn&#39;t bad at all, it just wasn&#39;t as outstanding as under the old owners, who have just opened a new project in the area called Casa Joana. I didn&#39;t see any evidence of any actual menus which for some would be off-putting, plus it is much easier for a new project to succeed if you have a standard dozen or so dishes to focus on and get perfect. Just an idea! Also please note that they DO open Sundays and are closed Mondays. It is also worth pointing out that, although the food quality isn&#39;t what it was, it was exceptional value for money, around half the price of the old Ca La Pepa&#39;s.
